Got the issue resolved. A wrong value resistor was on the board for the sound power source. Think this was my error in selecting a replacement for an out of stock item and selected the wrong value. Good thing, it is the only place this resistor is used.

@Kai Robinson Hope you can give me a pointer or direction to go. I have 2 classic reloaded boards completed and they are both booting but the audio is VERY low. When I press the rest button, the chime can be heard but its very low. Thanks for any input or guidance you can provide.

Kay, on the Bolle reloaded board there are the spaces for PLCC sockets and chips but Bolle said something about the data lines or something is reversed and custom chips need to be used. Do you know anything about this and or how can make that type of custom rom chips so I can use the sockets...

Just an update for everyone. This is solved. I had some generous people donate the needed ROM to fix the vi and it now works.

I have a Mac 128K original, not modified in any way, that I just fixed and is booting up and all. The mouse works with movement but the button will not do anything. I know the mouse is good as I use it on another machine. I have tested the DB9 port, the RC pack is good, and no trace damages...

After many days work and a hunch that the rom on the IIvi is bad, I can confirm it is. I removed it and took the rom from a working board and soldered it on the non-working board and guess what? Booted up and worked fine. Now I am in the hunt for a IIvi, IIvx or P600 rom to save this IIvi. If...

Looking for some guidance on what to check etc. I have a IIsi that will only boot when it has simms in all 4 slots. Remove the simms I get chime but no boot. Note this logic board has 1mb-8 chips on board. Could this be the issue?

Like to find a ready made file first as I am going to get a filament printer soon. The design of that I would need to spend weeks learning CAD.

Now need to work on the feet for Centris 610. Lol. Think best I buy a set of 4 from MacEffects so they match color.

I watched some YouTube vids on it especially on making gears. It’s easy just, like many program, large and has lots to learn. Took my time and tested.
