Has anyone ever revived a dead trackpad on an Aluminum PowerBook G4? My 15 inch trackpad is completely unresponsive with no cursor movements and the button does not work. I have to use an external mouse for everything.
I have tried several times reseating and cleaning with IPA the trackpad flex cable connections without luck. The power button and keyboard backlight, both of which run through the trackpad flex cable work fine.
Any ideas?
