Hey all,

I picked up a 12" Pc Compatibility Card a little while ago and I'm trying to install Win 95 on it. It'll install DOS 6.2.2 without issue from floppy, but any method I've tried to install 95 has failed. When trying to use an original CD, I get a "not High Sierra/ISO-9660" error. Using a 2nd virtual disk or shared folder with the installer files always results in freezing. Any ideas short of gathering up 29 floppies and installing that way? Host is a 9600.

Have you tried the usual stuff, like reseating/replacing/removing the RAM SIMM on the card (if you have one installed)?

I've tried a few more times since my last post. Each hanging around the same time towards the end of install. I'll try another 95 disk in the next week.

I don't see why not. All of the basic hardware requirements are present on the card, unless there's some low-level things that are absent.
