with some modern filters, you almost can’t tell this is from a QuickTake #MARCHintosh *ok, just kidding - on a real monitor you can definitely tell!
Doodling around with NewtPaint on the MessagePad 130 for Adventures of McFloppy comics. I'm guessing the B&W aesthetic is more ideal than the color version? I'm going to have to animate this little dude at some point, somehow.

Late night picture from the QuickTake 200 at the old Indianapolis Airport - this would have looked a lot different 24 years ago...

SoundJam locked and loaded on the Kanga G3. Finally settling in well and ripping MP3s of CDs even.

This will be the first brand new Mac that I’ve purchased in 20-years. Granted it’s not for me as it’s a Christmas gift for the wife but it will be interesting to see their new M1 chips in action and the 4.5k Retina display.

I just hope she loves it, Apple made it incredibly difficult being back ordered. Anyone else have first hand experience with the new M1 Macs?

It's been a week or so, time to fire the Kanga up and try and finish this Photoshop project I've been working on.... the Bryce render finished after only 19 hours lol

Early AM Bryce rendering time on the PowerBook Kanga! Correct me if I’m wrong in that we tend take today’s available processing speeds completely for granted...

Now that the Kanga has been successfully setup with its 8GB CF card, I’m forced down the path of reinstalling all the important software again. This will surely take all day... but it’s a beautiful day to do it!

Don’t forget to call me on the QuickTake help line, let’s get those photos converted to JPG!

Really wanted to use the mSATA SSD to ATA adapter but the Kanga simply wasn’t having it. Thankfully the spare CF adapter and card I had did the trick.

Is there even a display worthy of rendering such a high resolution image?

@Drake I wouldn’t think so either but Kaidan made some of these tripods specifically designed or catered toward the QuickTakes and QTVR including a wide angle lens, which I’m using but not pictured.

Alas, I’m just doing it for experimental fun. My results with the QuickTakes have been better than I would have imagined, even if that’s not saying much lol

When you flip the camera you now get close to 640 by 5120 condensed after stitching to something closer to probably 600x1800
