I did a build limiting writes to physical RAM to just the sound and video buffers and tripled the CPU speed. Video also seems faster but disk is reporting slower. I re-ran it with the 68EC020 CPU and it is even faster...video went up to 7x speed and HDD went to 3x.

Minor Update on the PiStorm on a Mac SE... I used an AI agent to patch the standard PiStorm Emulator to force 24-bit addressing on the 68020, 68EC30 and 68030 emulated CPUs. Those CPUs couldn't boot on a Mac SE due to being 32-Bit addressing CPUs. The patched emulator is here...

I got a SD2SCSI external to work on my PB170...but I had to power it externally...it wouldn't work unless I plugged in external USB power...the same device doesn't need power on my IIci.
