I've got one, but haven't played around with it much. I just learned that the built-in terminal program supports ANSI emulation. Do you know if it emulates ANSI in color?

I'll break out my '040 IIci and have it host a GlobalTalk server and a 6-node wifi modem Hermes II BBS again. Speaking of Hermes, it's back in the hands of its original creator, Will Price. Hopefully we'll see some further development in the near future!

Maybe you've already seen this, but version 5.0 of Total Replay has been converted to an HD image that works with BlueSCSI here. Perhaps you could use this as a model?
