    DOS on Mac

Success (finally)! I had to manually specify the IP address, subnet mask, and DNS in Windows 95. I was even able to find a much older version of my favorite modern Telnet terminal program Zoc and get on my BBS! BTW, the clipboard function between the two machines works slick for taking...

    DOS on Mac

Ok, making some progress - after setting up all the config and batch files, everything seems to load up properly at boot. I upgraded to PC Setup 1.6.4 too . Still a no-go on the Windows 95 side of things though. In Windows 95 TCP/IP, do I need to Specify an IP address or Obtain an IP...

    DOS on Mac

After installing the "Existing ODI Driver" in Windows 95, I don't have a C:\NWCLIENT folder. I've got a C:\Novell folder with Client32, Cuagent, and NIs folders within. LSL.EXE is in my C:\Windows folder, and MACODI is in C:\Apple folder.

    DOS on Mac

Interesting - my 200+ page manual has nothing about the DoM/MX card. Here's how I'm supposed to get the network up and running, but there's no disks included with the NetWare Client software or the Power Macintosh 6100 Ethernet Adapter driver so I'm not sure how to proceed... I'm assuming...

    DOS on Mac

It looks like there's a patch for the OT issue here. How exactly did you get networking to work in Windows 95? The DOS on Power Mac manual has me installing the NetWare Client software (which version of the client I don't know because it wasn't included with the card) and then selecting a...

    DOS on Mac

I've got one of these Reply DOS on a PowerMac Card w/Pentium 133 MHz Processor that was new open-box and put it in my 7600. It came with two PC Compatibility Card CD's - Mac OS Software and PC Utilities, both v1.5. I see that Macintosh Garden has v1.6 here. My PC Setup screen looks a little...

Aquafox browser for OSX Leopard and Tiger updated to v3.0!

Facebook and Youtube are a no-go. Reddit has some issues as well. G-mail works surprisingly well with it however!

Aquafox browser for OSX Leopard and Tiger updated to v3.0!

Checking in with my dual 1.5 GHz MDD Mac via the latest version of Aquafox! The Tinker Different site works perfect with it - how cool is that?!

Faster Baud and More Serial Ports (CSI Hurdler, SerialDMA, QuadraLink)

No problem - that Slotrom program you suggested worked slick! Didn't even have to break out the ROM burner... Just for clarification, CQ II BBS runs on a Mac Mini via telnet connections all year round. I've used the CSI Hurdler in my IIci during #MARCHintosh to host a Hermes II BBS (called...

#MARCHintosh project: Mac IIci 6-node Hermes II BBS

That's cool! It's too bad ZiModem doesn't support the entire AT command set for hosting a BBS.
