Ooof I can't keep up with you guys! I thought I checked the stickies but didn't see this model. Thanks!

@Deano I was trying to install your printed cover with 0dan0's lens spacers and the extra piece I built to fit my camera board. It seems the ribs in your cover are pretty close and interfere with installing the cover in some instances. Could you modify it to push them out wider, maybe to the...

I found single-piece orderable lens mounts that are the same size as our original. If you're replacing the lens it might be just as well to buy one of these and swap it at the same time to save frustration. This one might be slightly taller than stock, I believe stock is 8.5mm, this one is...

After a long long time...I finally have my C-unit modded! I installed a new 18mm spacing M12 lens mount, plastic, and the extension screwed in all the way, as it should. Unfortunately the metal ones from this kit were 20mm spacing and the 18mm ones (that this board takes) were plastic. It did...

Are there any other obvious hardware changes aside from the camera board? I see the camera ribbon cable is still as awkward as ever.

I hadn't thought of that, but I haven't used mine much yet in earnest. I picked up the bare board version to try, maybe I can find a way to front panel mount it with a bracket and a hole in the front.

It took me a minute to realize what was going on, that's the front and back view of the knob that is some sort of speed control. I was looking at it and thinking why's there a spare reel holder on your unit. Probably not easy or useful, but the other one, the one that drops in from the top, it...

Yes they were. I will try the lowest shim to focus with and also those reduced iris lens caps. I can't get the 7mm extension to sit flush but I'll have to try some more. Getting that extension to screw in is the hardest/longest part of this mod, and that includes opening the case to cut the hole!

That's your photo and lens! The two lenses that I have here (that I'm struggling with) are the AZURE-1228MAC Azure Photonics AZURE-1228MAC 2/3" 12mm F2.8 Fixed Iris M12 (S-Mount) Lens, 10 Megapixel Rated, Near Field (100-500mm W.D.) AZURE-1622MAC Azure Photonics AZURE-1622MAC 2/3"...

Do you have any tips on focusing the lens? On my 1st unit the metal 7mm adapter took dozens of tries to thread in, and then it still only threaded about halfway in. With the spacer/model set provided, I cannot get it to focus with the 12mm nor the 16mm lens (from the USA source). I have to...

@ThePhage could you also include the 3D printable files in the user manual link? I know there's the camera standoff mod, the lens caps, and a film visibility reducer thing.

Yeah those letters didn't really catch my eye in the model and were obscured in my print. I was aware of the three heights tho.

Wait, so then you're saying the piece with the grooves in it, the larger non-size-adjustable piece goes on top and the smaller one of three choices piece goes on the bottom?

I can't keep up with you guys. I started to mod my machine tonight, if I understand the photos I've seen before, for the spacer item, The piece with the four holes and socket receptacles mounts on the bottom, where the PCB was, with the bar part at the back facing the unit. The back holes...

I got my new lenses and parts. I'll be busy the next week or two but then I'll mod my unit and document it as I go along.
