Looks like my EU supposedly-typeD scanner doesn't work with any of the type D firmware posted here, including stock. It shows this for like 5 seconds after hitting "Record" and then goes back to preview.

Mine is Europe-acquired K2225148BK01056. Yeah, exactly the same symptoms, just can't remember if it was B or C, because I tried both, but one was this and the other was messy screen. Still it was able to reflash whatever I served it on SD card.

I had it with mine type D - didn't know the type back then (the EU serial numbers were not recognized as type D yet here on this forum) so I installed B and C and they either had unreadable display or non-working buttons. Reflashing with original firmware posted somewhere here and later with...

I uploaded B firmware on my D scanner first and was able to reflash with stock D and later with videodoctor D firmware.

Any progress on digging into D firmware? I'd be more than happy to help with testing and debugging.

Hi, I have a Kodak Reels european variant with serial that doesn't match any firmware type and apparently it's D, because flashing anything else than stock D firmware makes is unusable.
