Kind of a necropost, but the old SoundMaster control panel works for this. Another utility not mentioned is the SoundBuilder 2.0.1 application. Plays any SND resources (aka sfil Sound files). Can even play them backward, if desired.

@JDW, here are the two calculators together. More stuff conquested... Two Farallon EtherMac 10baseT AAUI dongles. One will be used with the LaserWriter IIg, and the other will be used with my Quadra 650, once that returns to my hands.
