So, I'm playing around with my clamshell iBook. While this machine has a 10-gig drive, it was stuffed with software that's taking up most of it: there's 6.54 gigs of data on it now, with 2.7 gigs free! 😂 There's quite a few games on here. 🙃

I'm having a wee bit of trouble with the DVD player-a software issue, apparently. It runs under OS 9.2, and I keep getting a Type 2 error when I try to launch it. I may have to look around on Macintosh Garden for alternatives in OS 9 and 10.

I'm also going to have to look for diagnostic software. I haven't used TechTool in ages-I suppose that will work?

It's a fun machine. :)

ISTR that DVD Player requires some sort of hardware decoder in OS 9. It's possible you'd also get that error if the hardware were present but you didn't have the right set of extensions.
