Hi folks, would anyone know how else I can troubleshoot my SE/30? Everything appears fine (normal chime and HD sounds like its booting up, caps lock responds) but theres no glow to the CRT, it looks completely dead. I tested the voltage on the 4 wires that go from the analog board to the CRT sleeve and its as follows:

Green = about 68v
Yellow = about 3.5v
red = 5v
blue = 5v

Haven't tested the flyback transformer cause I don't know how.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi There,

I'm not sure if you already know about Larry Pina's Macintosh Repair and Upgrade Secrets (1990), it's been a real help for me and my friends. I think if you take a look on page 80-81, it might be a good place to start. Vintage Apple has that book and quite a few books that may help you: https://vintageapple.org/macbooks.
