Looking for a UH7 and UB10 replacement for Mac SE30

Hey Folks,
I've been reloading some more SE30 boards and have finally come across a board with some bad chips. I'm on the hunt for a UH7 replacement and found the files to program a replacment using a GAL16V8. Just wondering if anyone has tried programming with this chip from digikey:

https://www.digikey.ca/en/products/detail/rochester-electronics-llc/GAL16V8A-15LVI/12133900

I tried UT source but they don't appear to have these in stock atm.

I'm also on the hunt for a Sony 3430045A (UB10/11) but I don't think there is an alternative to this chip. Found some on UTSource but of course it's 8 dollars in chips 30 in shipping. So if anyone knows of an alternative I would appreciate it :)

Thanks

I had an extra SE 800k that I took a 3430045A off of... they only have one of course since they're not stereo but it's there in case you have an extra SE board by chance.

Could do for now, would still want replacements longer term but this would let me get the board sound sorted at least.

DosFox on the TD discord reverse engineered the SND chip, check there, the schematics and gerbers may be open source.

Well I picked up a couple ATF16V8B-15JU from mouser which I believe are 5V programmable but when I load the JED file for UH7 and hit program it doesn't seem to program for me. Wondering if anyone else has tried programming these and has some tips to share?

There's been considerable online discussion about programming ATF... parts with low-cost programmers. Seems to be hit or miss as to whether Atmel parts are properly handled. After some early bad experiences with cheap programmers I picked up a used Dataman 48Pro+ which covers just about any part I'd ever need to throw at it.

Wondered about that; seems like programmers are very hit and miss for how well they work based on the research I've done previously though the T48 claims that this chip is compatible to be programmed. May I ask how much the Dataman 48Pro+ was? A quick google is suggesting between 800 and 1200 CAD (if you can find one) which is well beyond my hobby budget at this time.

I found one on ebay last year. Paid around $375 USD + ship. Definitely not a casual purchase, but after 30+ years of cheaping out on programmers it was time to eliminate aggravation from my life.

I'd also say the same thing about my Hakko FR-301 vacuum desoldering tool. Worth 10x what I paid for it in terms of on the bench performance.
