Hello all,

Anyone had any success getting an Asante Technologies 09-00061-00 Ethernet NuBus card Rev A working with a 10/100 switch? I have tried a few switches but I get no light from either of the cards I own. I have tried them in Mac IIci runnung 7.6, Mac IIcx running 7.1.1, and Mac IIfx runing 7.5.3 with the Asante Fast 10/100 drivers I have on disk and a few I have downloaded from Macintosh Garden but it does not seem to work. I have Appletalk selected on Ethernet and TCP IP on DHCP. (also tried manually). My G3 Mac with built in ethernet works fine as well as my G4. But my Mac II series computers just refuse to show a link light on the switch. Any thoughts?

I have the same Ethernet card in my Performa 600. Recently did the mod on my card, which is one cut trace and a jumper wire. I no longer need my $400 managed switch and a crossover cable to make the card work. It works on all of my switches, even the gigabit ones.
