Got it up and running! Certainly seems to run more like the speeds of my SE/30… now to try my development and optimization efforts on it! Thanks guys!!

Spot on guys — I was getting about 2fps on my real se/30 and am getting what seems like the same thing from Snow!. Very cool and saves me the 5 minute transfer process from macbook to SE/30 just to do iterative on-target testing! At the very least i can reduce how often I do a self checkpoint like this!!! VERY AWESOME!!! Thanks for the effort!!

I'm glad you figured it out!

The next step I took was to use a portrait monitor video screen, gives real good screen estate for coding in Symantec C++ 6.0.

I’ve been looking for more video roms for using Snow for other machines (all set on the se/30 for now but i wanted a mac iici, iifx, and quadra 650, 700, etc). Starting with setting up a Snow version of a IIci I got stuck looking for a video ROM. The ROM link at the OP of this thread doesn’t have a IIci video rom that i can tell — no luck web searching… . ANy leads/clues folks?
