MacSD inside a Mac Color Classic 'Mystic' - possible?

Hi there, I have a Mac Color Classic with the LC575 upgrade and video tweak to increase the resolution.

Wondering if it's possible to install a MacSD SCSI drive inside the chassis to replace the aging Quantum hard disk (and have it bootable from that). Has anyone done this and are there any tricky issues with doing this. or should I instead just look at having the MacSD in an external SCSI chassis and hook it up to the SCSI port (keeping the internal HD)? I know you need to remove the analog board to get to the drive housing, for starters.

Never used macsd before, did a quick google search and found this picture on their website:

If the scsi connector is placed at the middle of the pcb then no it won't fit in the cc, cc's scsi cable is quite short and is connected to the motherboard edge connector directly so you can't replace it easily. You can get an extension cable though, or just connect it to the scsi cable and let it hang upside down near the cutout for scsi cable, instead of mounting it to the hdd bracket. Or get bluescsi, they fit perfectly fine inside cc

Thanks. Maybe I’ll get a BlueSCSI as well then (as I’ve already purchased the MacSD and it’s on its way from US to UK right now), and then have an internal and external drive option. It’s makes swapping out the SD card for transferring files easier anyway. Not sure I want to lose the floppy drive.
