I got tired of bloated tech wikis, so I self-hosted a clean registry for retro hardware.

Hey everyone, I am a 13 year old tech and retro guy and I got tired of all the clutter in existing wikis of retro computing stuff, so I decided to create my own from scratch. It's called retrostechpecs. It's entirely ad-free, hosted on my very own Ubuntu server at home, and already has 117 retrocomputers catalogued. Log in using your Google account, enter your own computer configurations (even down to your own custom CPU/RAM/Addon specifications), and make your very own wish list. I am simply an independent hobbyist programmer trying to create a useful utility for you guys—would love some feedback and feature requests! https://raskattack.com

Hey also if this is not allowed, sorry.

Welcome to TinkerDifferent, @RaskAttack !

I was 13 when our family got its first computer for the home -- the 128K Mac in early 1984. That machine really changed my computing life. I can't help but think that what you're working on right now in your own digital world will share your future.

Your photo indicates you have a special liking of Commodore machines. I never owned one back in the day when they were new. In fact, my C64U (Christian Simpson's Commodore) is the first C64 I ever owned and I'm still learning the machine. You've one-upped me though with that authentic Commodore monitor and multiple disk drives!

Anyway, thank you for being a part of our forum, and for sharing your Retro Registry!
