I found one in a Quadra 700 I picked up (25MHz).
From what I can work out it does absolutely nothing - although I’ve not done exhaustive testing.

It does something, just not very much of it! Anecdotally difficult to perceive in general use but shows up in benchmarks to varying degrees.

For these tests I played with the QuadControl control panel "Quadra Boost" ROM in RAM setting, its seems the "MAX" setting (MQB below) provided some increased benefit with the FastCache Quadra over the default "Good" setting (GQB below) but not so much without the card installed.

I got no difference in any of my APD tests - maybe my card is faulty or I’m missing some Daystar software?
