Do you have a link to the blower that you purchased? That's one of the things that I thought about doing but I was thinking of a one u server fan or a normal fan just tilted. A blower fan is a much better option than what I was thinking.

@Fizzbinn The card I have is the Apple 10base-T. I've not had the chance to test the card without the FPU present yet. I'll give that a try before I install the Farallon card that I ordered. I'll report back once I know more.

Thanks, the weird thing is that it was working on HD1, but that's before I installed the MacBatt. I wonder if once the PRAM is reset, the Mac does more probing for a boot drive. I don't know why it then wouldn't have retained that information since it could now.
