Apparently the problem was the power supply, connected to my bench power supply it works fine.

I've checked the diodes and CR24 was shorted. Replaced it and the mac came back to life.

I've recapped (240v analog board) a Macintosh Plus a year ago and everything was fine. Recently when I tried to boot it it blew its fuse. On further inspection I can see burned off pcb in C33. I've attached photos of the carnage. Can I recover this? or is this analog board now dead?

Tell me about it... I've been looking for one in the UK and they seem to be very hard to find. It seems amazing to me how people in the US find loads of them for less than $300 or even free!
