Traded the 40MB drive that came in my LCIII to @jdcurry over at 68kMLA for a BMOW ROMinator II. Disabled the RAM check, so I no longer have to wait a minute for my IIci to display video at time of boot.

Three SCSI drives from @PotatoFi. Gave the 365MB Lightning to a buddy on 68kMLA, then installed the other two drives in my IIci and my Centris 650.

Perfect. That means it'll run Micro$oft Multiplan without messing up the inverse capital letters in the menu at the bottom...

If I can get my /// back from a buddy of mine, yeah, I'd definitely be interested. I forget, do the Titan cards have unenhanced //e ROM code, or enhanced?

Think the cheapest fx I paid for was the one I bought in 2014 from RE-PC for $50, plus tax. Mainly bought it for the case, so I could retire the regular Mac II case I was using for the fx board I owned at the time.

Am kinda tempted by the unmodified IIfx. Seems like it's still fairly cheap.

I haven't tried this with mine, but try turning on 1,4,6, and 7 on your adapter. Possibly that it might work fine. One of the members at the 68kMLA forums did that while trying to diagnose non-working video on his IIci. Started working perfectly.

Ok, so, yeah, pretty much need the whole shebang. A IIcx, ci, or Q700 power supply will work in a pinch. Might not have enough oomph to run the CD-ROM drive, as well as a hard drive, floppy drive, etc, but will at least let you test the board out to see if it works. Are you also on the 68kMLA...

Just received an LCIII from @AppaloosaMac over at the 68kMLA forums. Everything seems good on it, except, of course, for the floppy drive, which needs some servicing done as per usual. 36MB of RAM, 40MB Conner hard drive, with System 7.5 installed.

Tested the board. Nubus circuitry is good. So, just need to do a recap, and I should be good to go.
