You can add a ROM SIMM slot, then use what I was recommending. The solder pads are there.

They work pretty well. Eject motor is a little louder than it normally would be, but, at ieast the disks eject properly again. Installed one in my Centris 650's floppy drive's eject motor assembly.

^It should work. Not sure which chips you'd need, though. If the ROM SIMM socket is installed, you could get away with one of @dougg3's SIMMs, programmed with the ROM dump files you found.

Yep. the 650 boards have both. Same with the speaker headers. I'll have to look at my 650 when I reinstall the hard drive into it and see for sure, but I think the ROM simm slot on it is empty, so it's running on the onboard ROM chips.
