Capacitor List for IIsi Power Supply

No problem, at least maybe a place to start. Looked up the 33µf - 25V - SMT and it appears to be on order until next April… You can always go higher on the voltage rating, or look for a different brand I suppose. :-/ For the radials if some are out of stock make sure you pay attention to the...

I wish I had that, looks delicious! Perhaps I need to stock my cabinets/frig better…. Cheese and crackers, a simple sandwich, maybe baby carrots if I have them.

PB 540c HD upgrade (BlueSCSI vs. OEM & SCSI2SD)

Thought I'd share my experience with replacing the orginal hard drive in my PowerBook 540c with a BlueSCSI and some tests I did to see how it compares with the original HD and a SCSI2SD I had in my PowerBook 180. I ordered the PowerBook BlueSCSI Version 4 [F1.TbA.PB.V4] from Tech by Androda...

    Printing in Color

Its been a couple years but I’m pretty sure those Mac Palette II drivers worked for me, printing from an LCIII to an ImageWriter II. I think I printed a small JPEG picture, kinda interesting dither pattern, ….you could say artistic!

What is the best technique to remove SMD ICs ?

I second this approach, especially if you are trying to do this with a just an iron. I’ve have good results using ChipQuik: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0019UZP7I

Can the iBook G4 boot MacOS 9?

I'd heard about folks getting MAC OS 9 running on Mac mini G4s but haven't myself looked into it. After a cursory look at the MacOS9Lives site I see what you mean about it being unclear. Good luck!

    Fixing cracked ABS plastic

I just started using "WELD-ON 2354 Solvent Cement" which is MEK based, not too expensive: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079J4CNJ4/ It basically melts/fuses broken pieces back together, so a little goes a long way!

    LC520 Overclock

That would be nice, unfortunately you are correct, the Color Classic board's base architecture is from the LC/LC II. The LC III architecture used in the LC 520/550 and CC II, is quite different/improved (32 bit bus, 72-pin SIMM RAM with no 10MB limit, etc.). One thing that the LC520/550 (and...

    LC520 Overclock

Awesome, I had been thinking about whether this might be possible after noticing how similar (seemingly identical) the LC520 (25MHz) logic board is to the LC 550 (33Mhz) and Color Classic II (33Mhz) logic boards (which seem identical themselves except built in VRAM?). The similarity reminded be...
