Turns out I have the wrong keyboard/mouse combo. Anyone have SGI keyboard 9500801 and/or mouse 9150800 they want to part with. Drakware is sold out of his Indigo/USB converters.

I went a slightly different direction, but it works! I've used a lot of Glitch's boards like that on my old Suns.

Needs at least a TOD battery. Missing drive sled, but I can use external SCSI until I get that from my friend.

If you can make kits of the box version (all the parts, I'll assemble) I'm in for at least two. Depending on cost, if you assemble as well, I might go that route :)

I've put small things like hard drive cases as such out in the sun during the summer. It's slow, but it works. I've not seen any regression (or increased yellowing) on parts I did in the summer of 2020 when COVID started me being home during the day. YMMV

I've got two Thunderbolt displays that both have problems with the panels. Looking at them, I'm wondering if there's a practical solution to pull out the internal guts to make a poor man's Thunderbolt dock with the Tbolt/USB/Ethernet board and some kind of external power. I've seen but not...

For things like screw mounts/bosses that are not visible from the exterior, I've taken JB Weld and built it up on the outside of the mount to add extra strength. This has worked particularly well on the older Powerbooks, for example. If you are a risk taker, you can also "remake" a screw boss...

Nice! We used to salvage the original grey saucer Airport base stations since they had Orinoco Gold PCMCIA wireless cards inside. Many a laptop gained wireless capability for cheap/free because of this!

Nice grab. I have the SGI version of this, with the Diamond card to run it out of a PC, but I've never seen the Radius version in the flesh. I'd love to find the SGI Multilink adapter - that doesn't cost a fortune - to use it on some other things.

Looking forward to a Bill of Materials for all the necessary parts, and then it's time to warm up the printer! Looks great!
