Well that was only my 4 foot dish. I have an incomplete 8 foot dish here with a George Foreman grill attached at the focal point. My 12 foot dish was dismantled and gone (1100 3.5" hard drive platters).

The DDR333 PC2700 will down clock itself and is backward compatible to PC2100. That should not be an issue. Anything loose? Can you see the bottom side of the complete board for any burns or scorch marks? Check wiring for possible break in insulation?

I wonder if the platters are the rusty color or the shiny type (don't open it to find out)? When I built my first satellite solar cooker, I only had 3 5.25" platters that were shiny (near the center of the dish). The rest were all 3.5" and 2.5" platters. But it cooked hotdogs in the winter.

Did you install root patches ? What is Boot Picker Timeout set to? Have you tried it with the GOP option off? Do you have full acceleration (tansparent dock)?

If you are using a real Mac, then you should be using OCLP (Open Core Legacy Patcher), not Open Core. OCLP 2.4 works great on real macs.

What printer, firmware, and slicer are you using? I am using an Ender 3 Pro (with silent board), with similar settings to all other filaments. Using older Cura 4.1 on High Sierra.

So when you fully boot into safe mode, what is the resolution? Do you have any other boot drives or optical media to boot from? Sounds like a software conflict.
