    BlueSCSI v2 multi boot?

I installed System Picker and I use a single partition HD0 on which I copied the System Folder from 7.0.1 and 6.0.5 partitions using VMac. Running System Picker, it scans all System folders and let me reboot with a different Mac OS. It works well except 2 issues: 1. The desktop content from HD0...

    Advice on Mac SE/30 RAM

Thanks for the link, I managed to download the patch. What are the risks of running OS8 on an SE/30 ? Performance issues, crashes even with 20, 32 or more RAM ? I will give it a go as it sounds fun, yet hoping it could be a stable replacement of 7.5 to use the Mac.

    BlueSCSI v2 multi boot?

I'm very pleased with my BlueSCSI v2. As a feature enhancement for BlueSCSI team, would it be possible & feasible to support a multi boot like Linux GRUB so a user can choose to boot with alternative HD0 partitions e.g. to switch between Mac OS 6, 7... ?

    Advice on Mac SE/30 RAM

I bought new purple 4 * 4MB RAM which work well on my Mac SE 30. I found an interesting article to install Mac OS 8 on a Mac SE 30 from MetalBabble blog. However the links to download the os8 patch no longer works. Has anyone try it and has a copy of the required files, especially the patch ?

    Mac SE 30 games crashing

I installed 16MB RAM to have a total of 20MB RAM. It works well and most games run now without any error. The only exception is Star Wars which also crashed in miniVMac on a PC so I assume it doesn't work well with 7 Mac OS as suggested.

    Mac SE 30 games crashing

Hi I started playing with games on my Mac SE 30 with OS 7.5.3, 5 MB RAM, and BlueSCSI (Beyond Castle, Shufflepuck cafe...) For some odd reasons, games sometimes crash and I have to restart the Mac. What could be the reason ? Not enough or bad RAM ?

    BlueSCSI v2 Wifi connection failed

Hi I'm trying to set up the Wifi on a Mac SE30 using a BlueSCSI v2. I put my SSID and password in the ini file. When I start the Mac, I tried the MacTCP but it doesn't work. Looking at the log file, I'm getting the following: * ID: 4, Type: Network, Quirks: Apple .. Wi-Fi MAC: ... Connecting...

    Advice on Mac SE/30 RAM

Hi, After recapping the board, I have a functional Mac SE/30 with Mac OS 7.5.3 + 5 MB RAM (probably 4 * 1MB + 4 * 256kB) + BlueSCSI v2. I'm looking at options to expand the RAM using Connectix Mode32. Does it work without a Rominator ? I read it would let me support up to 128MB. What's the...
