    I got my Oric-1 in 1984. I gave it to a friend in the early 90s but I regretted it. I bought an Oric Atmos in 2003 from a member in a forum and still have it but I need to get that SD Card solution as using the tape interface isn't very reliable. One of the best keyboards on a micro of that era.

    And I don't know where to get started with it. It boots up fine, but other than the cables for the display it didn't come with anything else. Do these MSX machines have any modern peripherals that I can load software to it? I guess I should also buy some cartridges, but have no idea which ones...

    I have one with practically every modern add on made. Extended BASIC is superb and I really enjoy the games. My only issue is the joysticks, they are the worse I have used.

    A very under rated computer

    Growing up in Europe, the BBC models always caught my eye, but I never owned one back then. Now I have 2 model B's. BBC Basic is easily the best BASIC on an 8 bit machine I've ever seen. I'm very glad this section is part of the forum, a very unexpected surprise!
