    MacWeb .dsk files? [Solved]

I’m glad we got it figured out! I think you can change the thread title to add something like “[SOLVED]” to it, if you’d like

    MacWeb .dsk files? [Solved]

Here's a zip of a hard drive image, which it *sounds* like the floppy emu might also support.

    MacWeb .dsk files? [Solved]

Hmm. It sounded like those should work, but, I don't really know exactly what that emulator likes. Since it works in Mini vMac - are you able to mount both this image and a known-working .dsk image in vMac at the same time? Then you could copy them over there. If that doesn't work I'll see if I...

    MacWeb .dsk files? [Solved]

It's not an ISO, it's a Disk Copy image (well, in a zip folder, so the forum would let me upload it). I think it should work directly if you put it on your floppy emulator, but I'm not 100% positive what format those require. The website says Disk Copy images should work, though. I can't send...

    MacWeb .dsk files? [Solved]

I got my SE online only just yesterday! I'll see if I can do that when I get home later today. What version of Stuffit are you using? Also, I highly recommend using MacWeb 2.0 - seems a lot more stable when I was trying it. I got it from Macintosh Garden: https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/macweb

    MacWeb .dsk files? [Solved]

What issues are you having? I just put MacWeb on my SE yesterday without any issues. What System version are you running? Are you planning on writing the image to a physical 800k disk or are you using something else to get it on the Mac?

Trouble Installing DaynaPort Drivers for RaSCSI

Thanks! I went ahead and just set it all up in 7.5 - it's not that much slower than 7.0 or 7.1, and as far as I can tell there's not a way to mount virtual disks in System 6? But I was able to get it all going in 7.5 and I just successfully pinged Google with it, which is super exciting! Thanks...

Trouble Installing DaynaPort Drivers for RaSCSI

Just tried 7.5.3, and it mounts just fine there. In 6.0.8 I get "The application [name] has unexpectedly quit (2)"

Trouble Installing DaynaPort Drivers for RaSCSI

7.1.2. I'm going to try again in both 7.5.5 7.5.3 and 6.0.8 to see if that helps anything.

Trouble Installing DaynaPort Drivers for RaSCSI

I seem to be having issues with the installer I found for 3.5 (crashes instead of doing anything), and 2.1 mounts the image but the system reports that it's not formatted as a Mac disk and needs to be formattd. I'm using v3 - Double clicking on the image gives me an error: "ShrinkWrap was...

Trouble Installing DaynaPort Drivers for RaSCSI

Hi all, I'm trying to set up ethernet on my Mac SE using my RaSCSI and the instructions here: https://github.com/akuker/RASCSI/wiki/Dayna-Port-SCSI-Link However, I'm having trouble getting the DaynaPort Drivers to work. When I try to unpack the linked .sit file, Stuffit quits immediately...

Macintosh SE Won't Boot System 7

To close out this thread - the RaSCSI came in, and while using it, all my issues went away. I can use images, move files, and even boot System 7.5.5 without any crashes or other problems. The BlueSCSI is most likely bad. I'll probably have a follow up thread in the future when I'm motivated to...

WarpSE: 25 MHz 68HC000-based accelerator for Mac SE

Yeah I think that’s perfect! The main issue with the other version was mentally figuring out exactly where the dots were, and this completely solves that!

WarpSE: 25 MHz 68HC000-based accelerator for Mac SE

I think it's a little unclear as well, and I imagine that if it's unclear here it'll only be worse when viewing on an actual board. Do you intend to have the 3rd switch do something eventually? Or is it the type of deal where 3 switches is cheaper than 2, or something like that? Either way, I...

MacBook Pro 15" 2012, shuts down randomly, or black screen on startup

Is that the same as this issue? https://www.macrumors.com/2017/05/20/apple-ends-2011-macbook-pro-repair-program/ Is this a type of reflow that could maybe be fixed by baking the board in the oven? (Don't do this unless someone backs me up here, lol)

Macintosh SE Won't Boot System 7

As another update - I've tried a few more things, like testing the 5V line on the PSU (which looks totally fine), and I'm leaning toward the BlueSCSI being the issue. I've ordered a RaSCSI to see if that works. Hopefully that lets me figure out either way where the issue lies.

Macintosh SE Won't Boot System 7

I ran some LIDO tests, and here's what I'm getting on the BlueSCSI. The tests run fine on the internal HDD.

Macintosh SE Won't Boot System 7

Could you elaborate on that? Like with the serial ports, should pin X on port 1 go straight through to pin Y on the 8530? If that's the case, I just don't know which pins should be connected.

Macintosh SE Won't Boot System 7

Do you know of a guide I could follow for that, or some other resource? I tested a bit of it, but it's pretty complicated haha.
