    Quicktake 150 on MacOS8?

Witchcraft! o_O I had a Power Macintosh 6100 that I had System 7.6.1 and Mac OS 8 on. I installed the same Apple PhotoFlash software package on both operating systems, but I got nonsensical errors on Mac OS 8. Unless you are using a different piece of software? I'd love to know!

IrDA fun - Data transfers. Has anyone ever gotten this to work for non-AppleTalk devices?

Some of you may have seen my attempts (link) on YouTube of me trying to fulfill the promise of Steve Jobs during the iMac G3 debut. And that is the action of beaming digital camera photos to the iMac via wireless IrDA. I'm using a Kodak DC260 camera which has an IrDA 1.0 compaliant port on it. I...

    Shipping a B&W G3, any advice?

Yes, remove the handles, pack them safely with bubble wrap (maybe even place them inside the machine). I'd also remove all PCI/memory modules too to ensure they don't move around during shipping. Then blanket the tower with bubble wrap and box it up, you may wish to double-box it if you can...

    G3 iMac G4 card issue

Can you provide photos? I may not be up to the reball task, but I'd be interested in seeing what caps need to be replaced.

    Quicktake 200

I just bought a CameraMate new in box, sealed, off eBay not even 1 week ago. On the back of the box it shows compatibility for both types of SmartMedia card. There were a few on there for under $25. I discovered it will NOT work on modern machines. (Like my Mac Pro running Mojave). The LED...

Anyone want to pool some cash together for a Twiggy Mac?

Oh wow, I'd actually love one of those... not for that price though... just to open it up and document the heck outta it!

Custom resolutions on PowerMac G3/G4 in OS X / 9

Yes, SwitchRes is a good utility for this, but you'll likely need to run it on all of the systems. It also may be less of a headache to find another LCD which has a 4:3 aspect ratio, or one that supports more common resolutions.

    Performa 475 audio issue

In situations like this I would suggest to carefully check your capacitor work around the sound chip area. In addition, I've experienced a LC 575 board which had a similar issue. It turns out there was a break in a trace near one of the capacitors that was impossible to see without my...

    ROM-inator Resurrections

Very cool! As far as compatibility, can we assume it'll work with the same systems as the original BMOW system requirements state? ❔
