This has been resolved. I tried 3d printing some TPU first and it didn’t work. The final solution that worked is a .8 inner diameter silicone tubing but it is hard to find with the required 4mm outer diameter. But I eventually found some and I have plenty.
if you want to send more your info I...
i found ZTerm1.1b7 and that one worked but it could not connect to the internal modem pn the duo. The trick was to install the Express Modem control panel and extension. Had the same issue with the Powerbook 180's internal modem.
* Oh I didnt know I could also use Black Night. Can I also dial...
I stick to 3d printing as much as possible... Just finshed a Duo Pack :)
After buying about 4 sets of gray filaments I finally found one that kinda almost matches the PB color... Its a tough one... not quite gray...
Hi all,
I’ve got the Duo 2300c that I just got working and need to test the modem. ZTerm crashes and I’m afraid to bother with Claris Works cause it’s for System 7 and installs a bunch of crap.
Anyone know of a good term program that will work on OS 8 wether it’s native PPC or not?
Cool i saw those and I can't believe how expensive that one is! $400 bucks!
I bought this it's closer to my budget lol

Yeah my first one didn't go well. Now i squeeze the packs to loosen up the glue as much as possible then slip a flat blade under the connector where the enclosure wraps around the connector and carefully pry it up till the case starts to come apart and then work your way around.
I have one good pack that I was able to open and I will be using that I have others that are mangled and it would be a lot nicer to have a new repro enclosure. It will look fine on the side if it's an exact replica and nearly the same color. A lot better than taping together a busted up old...
An update on the Pismo / Loma are pack project. Well 8 or the 9 cells I ordered arrived 🤦♂️ so waiting on the other one to do the first test build. Good news is they seem to be good cells that are actually the mah rating or higher after doing some discharge tests. They are each 3300mah. I was...
I’m looking for a iici or a iicx board. I’ve recapped and repaired mine but I think it’s faulty. I have to have a ROMinator in it to work probly and I think it still has issues. My cards aren’t working. Only the video card.
Ahh yes to clarify my portable has Androda’s BlueSCSI v2 with WiFi for desktop: https://androda.work/product/bluescsi-v2-desktop/ as well as the Macintosh portable adapter: https://androda.work/product/macintosh-portable-adapter-for-bluescsi-v2/
* I then jumpered power from the floppy drive to...
I think that’s just the “desktop” version of bluescsi board…
The v2 with a Pico W can do WiFi so your portable can get online and wirelessly AppleShare to another WiFi Mac with AppleTalk and AppleShare enabled and so other network things.
System 6.0.8 will be pretty limited compared to 7 just...
No I designed my own. I have one up on ebay right now. It has 10 2600mah (5200mah total) Eneloop Pro cells in it. I payed more for them than i am selling the pack for. asking $50.00 + shipping.. If interested I'll pull it off ebay and sell direct to you.
I also just made two new packs that have...
Well I think so from what I’ve found online. I mean you have to connect the circuit board to it and spot weld the cells correctly but then I think it should work unless it needs to be reset or something to on the chip but I don’t think so. I found a page on one guy replacing them and it it...
