Well in the restoration - the HD was bound to be retiring …. I opened the drive / cleaned our the extreme stickie plastic from over the years; now sometimes she shows up to be initialized ….. Question …. do certain drives of the period need their own specific tool to be earased and initialized...

OMG I think this is the absolute most amazing thing - too bad I have to go to work today ;) I am so excited - how can one get involved or purchase such a beautiful thing …. I guess I have to wait till I get back tomorrow and do allot of reading :) thank you for sharing !!! Super Cool :)

You know I am biased as many here are too - I love the old computers - I do …. I do think Apple’s latest MacBooks are the best the company has made in a long time - maybe they are too perfect / so one can’t tinker ;) ‘Having said that I am sure there are 50-150 ( if not thousand ) people out...

Something very nostalgic when you picked up the box of opportunity and dreams when purchasing software in the days past .... here are some of the back of the boxes that I have from my days … would love to see the others that I don’t have :)

Definitely next year … Wall is such a quick drive !!! Sad I missed it … I would have loved to see what retro Mac things people are willing to find new home for :) & ask questions and reminisce for hours and hours ….. @cjsebes any old Mac stuff you still need to find a home for ?

Starting this journey myself … however my board was a little rougher …… hoping to move all functioning parts to a new board and possibly bringing this beautiful piece of computing back to life .
