Main issue I see if that you’d go through the hours of work to do it and then sell at most a dozen of them. You’ve got a small subset of people with a 5300ce, then a smaller subset who’ve had their hinges snap, then the smaller subset of those that have had a torn cable. Not like the eMate where...
Yeah, I figured it would be too complex. Maybe if it was a common model, but the 5300ce probably sold as many units in the US as the 550c did in Japan. They only show up on eBay every couple of months as well.
Considering apple only sold around 3 5300ce PowerBooks, I doubt it would be worth his time ;)
Brought it up last year in this thread but I never got a responce: https://tinkerdifferent.com/threads/looking-for-flex-cables-to-recreate.928/
Also, pretty proud of this. I managed to grab the model number of the Samsung-made panel for the 3400c (also used a sharp) from a brief second in Action Retro's TAM video where he swapped it into his TAM (they use the same LCDs). Had to crank the resolution all the way to 4K and zoom way in, but...
Also, just updated the LCD index page on my site. Now has LCD model numbers for the 150 Casio panel, 190cs/5300cs Sharp panel, 1400c panel, and other info.

If you know any LCD model numbers that I'm missing, let me know.
Sharp 5300c panel will have its own cable too, I can say with complete certainty the the connector on the display side is in a different location than on the Toshiba panels.
I tried using the 5300c Toshiba cable with my SVGA 5300ce display previously after seeing they were both Toshiba panels (was expecting a sharp and even ordered caps for it... that's why I had it open) but it just produced garbage. Definitely different pinouts, though the connectors are the same...
That part number throws a match to the Sharp LCD. The 5300cs/c/ce screens are 10.4", so the HLD0912-023010 would be the only possible match.
Edit: HLD0912-023010 is actually a 9.4" LCD.

Hosiden pulls a match for apple P/N...
I've found some slight evidence that suggests that Hosiden made LCDs for the PowerBook 5300c (Color active matrix!)

This guide uses a mix of photos, but see the ones that appear to be taken from a service guide of...
Remember, there's two different colors. PB 100, 500, 200 (Duo) Series light gray, and then PowerBook 190/5300, 1400, 3400, 550c, 2400c, G3 Kanga dark gray. Then there's the black used in wallstreet+ models.
Just how! I couldn’t get above 20,000 since by level 4 the enemies guard the last dots to pick up and I just couldn’t get to them. How did you do that?
That bat in mouse stampede is the worst. Impossible to get rid of, random movements, and a huge hitbox. I'm close to the record but not there yet, had to stop playing due to how much that darn bat was frustrating me.
Oh, and also, if you click the increase starting score button too many times...
Did it sound like dust crackling? I've heard that sort of thing from a lot of CRTs I've seen. I've always assumed that it's dust on the tube reacting with the sudden high voltage. Never been sure about that though.
I’ll be making a full video when I get the restoration done, which will be up on my YouTube channel. I can post some photos tomorrow, essentially what happened was some repaired screw wells on the front bezel snapped immediately, and the 3D printed hinge standoff part broke off due to the glue...
