    Powerbook 100

I got one back in '99 or so, it was my very first powerbook, and I absolutely loved it. I used Finale to transcribe music with it. I used it until the screen died and then I got a 520c with a PPC upgrade. At the time I had no idea how to repair it so I sold it for parts. Nowadays I *do* know how...

GlobalTalk - Global AppleTalk network for MARCHintosh 2024 (and beyond!)

I saw a post on Mastodon that somebody was able to do this with Basilisk II in the emulated env, does anybody have any pointers on how it should work? Unfortunately I don't have a 68k mac with ethernet to run AIR on!

    Ode to the PowerBook 100

The screen died, I'm pretty sure it is one of the caps in the buck converter does not make contact, when I have a second I will see (BTW @3lectr1c I'm the guy that was so happy on the other forum :D)

    Ode to the PowerBook 100

I love my PB100s, I just repaired my second one :) I love their design that is somewhat less chunky than "normal" series 100, and I live the smaller size. But probably it is mostly nostalgia: I was given my fist pb100 in the late 90s when I was in highschool, and it was my first notebook. I did...

    BlueSCSI v2 - DaynaPORT WiFi!

This is so cool, I'm surely getting one! It probably could do LTtoUDP, the protocol supported by mini vMac and AirTalk? I'm actually working on a "internal" version of AirTalk for the PB1xx series, it could be a super cool complement!

BlueSCSI v2 Pico - Low cost, open hardware, fast SCSI device!

Ahh yes it makes sense, I was thrown off because the schematic just shows the first 40 pins, probably it is split in two different places.

BlueSCSI v2 Pico - Low cost, open hardware, fast SCSI device!

Hi everybody! I just installed my BlueSCSI v2 in my Powebook 100 and it works fantastic! I just have one question: the powerbook version of the BlueSCSI is 40 pins, but the connector inside my PB 100 is 50 pins. I checked the schematic and the first 40 pins correspond to the pinout of the...

    ThinkC MacPPP CDEV/INIT source code

I have been playing for the last couple days with an ESP8266 running The old Net PPP to make a slow/cheap IP link for my Mac Plus. I want to have system 6 on the internet to ftp file from/to the mac, and I was reading some howtos and some problems related to older versions on MacPPP. It seems...
