But on another mac running os9 it detected the drive. I want to use disk copy because if I just mount the images and drag and drop them to the disk it says there is not enough space.
Want to copy over some .img files to floppy disks. But when I try opening Disk Copy 4.2 it gives me this error even though I have my USB floppy drive connected. Any tips?
Upon a closer inspection I found out that when I was removing the display connector I accidentally ripped off this part. The good news is that it doesn't look too bad and I will be giving the board to a friend to micro resolder the pins.
It was fine before I dissembled it and moving the arm has no affect. I remember it was really hard to pull out the display cable so when I was reassembling I didn't place plastic thing that covert it. Could that be the problem?
Trying to install system 7.5 from 7 floppys on my powerbook 145b but when I click install (from disk 1) I need to put disk 2 then disk 3 and after that disk 4 and again disk 1 and then it gives me this error. Any way to fix it?
Oh so you meant USB drives. I found AliExpress an adapter for a standard ide drive to USB maybe I can buy one of those. Do you have the file for the floppy drive door?
Thankfully my G4 came with a PCIe card that has a tone of usb ports on the outside and one on the inside. Sadly I couldn't find a bracket for a nonmirror drive door g4 to print
Hopefully there is a 3D model of a nonmirror drive door g4. Can't I just use regular old internal floppy drive from a PC and get an IDE to floppy IDE adapter or floppy drives need specificly to be flashed for mac kinda like the gpus?
