Try to add the folder NVTDELFW to your SD-Card and try to flash again, if the firmware is still on your SD-Card, than the flashing failed. Mostly not correct formatted file system.
Hello 0dan0,
I have a question, is the image with stock res 10 already with the patched ABW? I ask because the right part of the image has a blue cast on the building columns that is not noticeable on the left side. However, a beamer salesman once told me that you should not judge the quality...
I think it's not 1GB , above in this document there is 16KB data cache (upper case B) , almost used for bytes, below at built-in memory they used 1Gb (lower case b) almost used for bit. :-(
Oh, that would be very little RAM. One approach could be to set the GOP to a smaller value, I think a sequence of I- and P-frames is always written directly to the SD card. This could possibly reduce the RAM load.
Unfortunately, I haven't gone any further because of the setback with the display...
I wanted to look at the display, or the exact type, to see the differences between the A, B and C models. I dropped the display, I tried to catch it and I brushed against a glass bottle which then fell directly onto the display. Now it is broken, you can only see very faintly that the backlight...
Hello,
I have now ordered the UART adapter and hope to receive and install it this weekend.
I haven't worked with Ghidra yet, but I'm no stranger to assembler. I'll take a closer look at the subject, but I only have a few hours at the weekends. But I hope it just takes longer, but that we can...
Hello domb84,
even if they look the same on the outside, keep in mind that even the Kodak model has at least three different hardware revisions with customized and non-interchangeable firmware.
You can try whether you can make the adjustments to the resolution with the firmware read out and the...
Hello,
have you tried changing the vertical resolution only? Then the Bayer pattern, if it is RGGB for example, should remain (unless the sensor is rotated, in which case you would only have to try changing the horizontal resolution). If a resolution change in both directions leads to a...
Hello 0dan0,
I used your 1st version of your firmware and it worked very well for me with the colors, so the yellowish tint was gone.
I can't wait to see what you conjure up next. Thumbs up and good luck
Especially compared to the original firmware, the colors are really much more stable when the light changes. I'll see which program is best for adjusting the colors. Do you have a recommendation? You have to cut and crop it anyway :-)
Hello 0dan0,
I tested it now with a short film sequence. Overall it looks very good. Sometimes I thought that yellow is a little bit to much.
But maybe it's just the age of the film. Left is stockfirmware with Mac84 Firmware, right image with your FW V2. The look feels not so cold.
I will test...
Hello, I flashed the firmware today. But I will test it tomorrow, it's now to late for today :-)
Can you tell me your used settings for exposure and tint?
Hello,
that looks simply brilliant in your demo. Thank you very much for your efforts. Without this forum I would not have bought the Kodak. I had the “C” model and at that time there was no high bitrate FW for it (thanks to Mac84 for the recently created FW). If the optimizations continue...
Hello, that sounds fantastic. Is the modification of the firmware in terms of bit rate and resolution also applicable? Or has this not been tested? In any case, great work, thank you very much.
