A 3D printer would not help. It's the stem on the power switch that is broken not the power button. I don't see how a 3D printer would fix that situation, much less with no way to attached it properly. The entire switch would need to be replaced otherwise.

It's for plugging in an additional expansion card like a video card. I think you could get one specifically for this accelerator from SuperMac. The manual does not go into any detail on it.
