flyback transformer

I recently picked up a G3 All In One which seems to be in fairly decent condition. It boots and chimes, but has some weird display issues. The display area is off center maybe about an inch to the right. I've seen similar issues with eMacs and iMac G3s, but the solution seems to be different...

As you can see in the photo, the flyback wire on this Mac Plus analog board somehow snapped off. I would like to confirm that it's ok to soldier this back on. Will that hold? Could the high voltage/high temperature generated by the component cause it to break again soon after? The transformer...
