This took a little bit of googling, so I wanted to reupload it here so we have our own copy of it just in case, seeing as there was once a time it looks when the software was harder to find.
What is it? This updater allows you to update/restore a third generation iPod (the one with the light up buttons) to iPod OS 2.0.1. It's for PowerPC Macs. (I haven't tested it under Rosetta.)
Why does that matter? Because 2.0.1 allowed the 3rd generation iPod to work with iTunes 2 (and by extension, Mac OS 9.) A fully updated 3rd gen iPod will still come up as a disk in Mac OS 9, but iTunes won't interface with it. You'll need a newer version of iTunes.
