A few infrastructure related updates this week.
Planned maintenance this coming weekend
Normal patching and server maintenance. We will reserve 30 minutes of downtime this weekend (TBD) when everyone can be online and do the update. Thread will be updated with actual time. If anything unexpected were to happen please checkout our /r/TinkerDifferent Reddit for updates.
Offsite Backup Failure
We had a failure of our offsite backup (luckily we have more than one backup, for just this purpose) and the alert went to a shared email that was not monitored. We've fixed the backup script and have the alerts ping discord as well now so we'll see any failures right away.
Spam
You may have noticed we're getting some spammers. We've taken some actions to help reduce them and hopefully not annoy users. We'll keep evolving our measures (as I'm sure they will evolve theirs!)
