Item 1:
Marketplace Guidelines in Discord and on Tinker Different for RecyclersNotes:
* We have seen a large number of posts in Discord Market Square from a system recycler. The intention of Market Square was for sales and trades of a person-to-person nature.
Action Items:
1: Update Discord Market Square guidelines to make it clear this is for person-to-person interactions, where the poster is the owner of the item for sale or trade. Posting recycler / refurbisher items into ‘look what I found’ is appropriate.
2: On Tinker Different, create a thread for the purpose of posting “vintage recycler / refurbisher finds” as links or information to where the recycler or refurbisher is selling these items.

Photo Contests / EventsNotes:
* Discussed creation of a Tinker Different calendar for the year 2024 via a photo contest. A limited number of photos per user would be submitted for the contest, of their favorite retro things (not only computers). Dates of significance in computer history can also be submitted for consideration to be included on the calendar.
* Discussed creation of a short Tinker Different promo video.
* Discussed prize pools, in relation to the calendar and other contests and events.
Action Items:
1: Put together threads on Tinker Different for the Calendar Contest, one for the contest submissions and another for contest rules, information, and questions.
2: Kai and Bruce to work on Tinker Different promo video.

Vendor Area UpdatesNotes:
* The existing vendor area name sounds too much like an endorsement, where the idea was only to make information available about vendors that sell parts and equipment or provide services for retro systems. Addition of a new vendor is not an endorsement, and their area could be removed at any time for misconduct.
* Unused vendor areas should be hidden, the guideline says 1 year of inactivity will cause removal.
* We’re missing some details on how to report vendor misbehavior and on subjects that would prevent a vendor from being approved.
Action Items:
1: Rename “Friends of Tinker Different” to “Vendors”
2: Approve pending applications for listing in the vendor area
3: Add missing details on how to report bad behavior of vendors, and add detail on what would cause a vendor not to be approved
4: Hide or remove vendor areas with no activity in the past year, as per policy
