7600 ejects disc on boot

I am trying to boot the 8.6 installation CD (WinWorldPC's copy) from my 8.1 installation, but no matter what I press when I start the computer it ejects the disc and then hangs at the gray smiling mac icon. I have tried both holding C and holding Command-Opt-Shift-Del. I am able to read the disc fine in 8.1.

Any thoughts?

perhaps this isn't as solid of a disc as I thought, now I am unable to run any programs from it and get the error

There is not enough memory to open "Mac OS Install" (zero k needed, zero k available)

I wasn't getting that earlier

I've been collecting known and tested bootable media - links here https://github.com/erichelgeson/BlueSCSI/wiki/CD-Image-Support#know-good-macintosh-bootable-images - I find many of the WinWorld ones are bad rips.

Success! Thanks eric, I was able to burn the .toast image in Brasero on Linux and it boots up just fine
