Add micro-button to garage door opener

I am trying to add a stealth garage door opener to my Jeep using a blank stock control button on my console. I know how to do the install from a couple videos I found but I am not real electronic savvy.
From the four pin button on the remote I want to solder jumper wires to the micro-button will active the opener.
my question is this: How do I know which two pins on the remote do I solder to?
I have attached a pic of what I am trying to do that I found from a old forum post (from 6 years ago) but it doesn't show the inside of the remote.
Any advice would be great.

How do I know which two pins on the remote do I solder to?

If you want to ID the switch pins, use the continuity feature of a DMM.

The meter will beep when the button is pressed if you have the right pins.
