Hi,
I bought an apple ii gs from the US. My mistake when I received it is to forget looking at moving from 110 to 220V :(
When I switched the 2GS, I heard a loud noise as I think I killed the PSU.
It's the Astec model AAI3581, no 699-0126. On the label it says that the input is 115V so I guess it couldn't be converted to 220V.

My questions are:
- does this model support 220V ?
- is there a risk that I damaged the 2GS motherboard or only the PSU ?
- I found this kit for a 110/220 power supply: https://www.reactivemicro.com/product/universal-psu-kit/#prettyPhoto[product-gallery]/1/. Is it easy to set up and is there any other alternative for an EU compatible PSU ?

Thanks

Was is the same Astec model ? Is it the one here : https://www.apple2faq.com/apple2faq/convert-us-power-supply-220v/?
I opened my Astec 699-0126 PSU and it's not the same model (see photos).

I checked the fuse and it's still ok. I wonder what probably burnt having plugged the 110V PSU to 220V.. A capacitor in the PSU ? Any risk it could have damaged the motherboard ?

I have a spare Mac SE PSU ; could the in/out voltage be compatible with the 2 GS ?
