Apple IIE + Apple Super Serial Card + Wimodem32

I'm trying to connect my Apple IIe to the internet via wifi
I can't get to talk to the Wimodem32 to set the wifi network.
Whenever I go to terminal mode in Proterm 3.1 I can't type, unless I set it to half-duplex, but it seem to do nothing
I set it as hayes 300 bauds.
I remove all cards, even the wimodem32 from the Apple II, and try the terminal mode directly from the SSC, but I have the same problem, cant type anything on.
I tried several switches configurations, even different command-a commands, with no success.
Do you have some suggestions?

I've never used a WiModem before. Just a thought, do the WiModem's directions specify if the jumper block triangle on the super serial card is pointed to TERMINAL or MODEM?

Yes, the arrow points to the Modem.
