Hello,

greetings from Germany!

I recently aquired a NTSC Apple IIe, which after inspection showed a bit more corrosion than expected (on the bottom shield as well as on the video and joystick connector). Desoldering the video connector and - most - of the DSub connectors pin went flawless - until I tried to free the mounting points of the Dsub connector.

Has anyone here experience or knows how to get them out? I cut out the desoldered plastic part of the connector and I'm now wondering, if the mounting post should be cut and drilled out, or if it just needs much more hot air (than I was comfortable with)?
