Hey guys,
I recently downloaded Dragon's Lair and Space Ace 2 for my IIgs from the Brutal Deluxe website. I have gotten both games to run on my emulatoed GS but I have not been successful getting these to work on my desktop IIGS system. Both games get hung up on the pictured intro screen. We get to that and no further. Any idea what could be causing these issues?
I'm working with an Apple IIGS Rom 1, 4mb RAM, Microdrive Turbo HD and Darksound card.
Here's what I have tried:
Loading on a GS/OS partition on my Microdrive Turbo. Nope
Running from GS/OS partition but holding down shift on startup. Nope
Trying to run from a different GS/OS partition. Nope
Trying to run from a GS/OS boot floppy. Nope
Trying to run the HD PO image as a Smartport HD using my FloppyEmu. Nope
Trying to run from the floppy disk images using my FloppyEmu. Nope.
After all this, I decided that it must be a hardware issue rather than a software issue. I tried removing the Darksound card to see if that was the issue. Nope
Out of ideas but still in need of support. I tried the FB group but that didn't get my beyond the author suggesting holding down shift on startup. As noted that didn't work.
