I recently purchased a joblot of old computers which had this Toshiba included it was the only one which booted up fully out of all of them

Unfortunately I discovered the Batteries had allready done their damage. As the thing didn't have any sound...no worries I thought and I immediately unloaded some white vinegar onto the board which seemed to "work" up until I tried testing it and it did turn on and run for about 5 minutes until it fizzled out and now it doesn't turn on at all.

The OPL3 chip gets very hot and may not be any easy chip to replace, it's model is Yamaha YMF715F-S.

The Computers damage allready looks beyond my skills (which for soldering seems to be everything).

Is it fixable if I send it to somebody?

I'd like to see anyone's opinion on if I should replace the board or try and fix it..thanks!

I mean, i've seen a lot worse - honestly, pull the board out and give it a good cycle or two in an ultrasonic cleaner to properly get rid of the filth. It may need some parts reflowing afterwards, as the corrosion has attacked the component legs.
