Hello,

I'm looking for advice on closing my SE/30 case. The bottom of the case near the ports is OK, but the top of the case above the monitor just won't fit together.

I've tried repositioning the motherboard and even closing it without the RF shield to ensure that's not obstructing it, but to no avail. I've opened and closed the case several times over the years without issue, but now I'm stumped. I'm pretty sure it's something inside the case rather than a problem with the two halves of the case coming together.

Any advice is much appreciated.

One issue I have sometimes is the power connector and switch not being 100% aligned with the holes in the back of the case.

There is also a hook/clip in the inside of the back of the case (near the power switch hole) that connects to the analogue board when closing. If the analogue board is not aligned properly to connect there the case wouldn't close all the way.

Please shoot 2 more photos for us:
1. A well lit photo of the inside of the back case, so we can clearly see any possible obstructions.
2. A photo straight down with your machine face down on the floor, so we can assess what might be keeping the back case from fully being seated into the front case.
