Hello everyone I have a 0zTechnices or oztechnics, or []ztechnics 68HC05 Programmer here. I have some questions I was hoping this community may help me with. To begin I see three ports a DB25, a 12vDC power connector (can someone link a power supply looks like a weird jack), and a DB9 port. My main questions are #1 Does this need software (I assume yes) and if so where in the world can I find it because I cannot locate any, #2 What specific cords do I need, #3 Can I get specific cords adapted to USB and use this with a modern PC or MAC in a Virtual Machine to be able to use it or must I track down an age appropriate computer?

Definitely need their software. Oztechnics were a prolific producer of electronic test and other gear back in the early/mid 90's here in Australia (about 20km from me actually). The board you have has the programmer piece, but also the in-circuit simulator. Both of which require their custom software from memory. The company doesn't exist any more to my knowledge, at least not under that name.

Actually after doing further looking that appears to be a full software version with a demo mode included. Problem is now I have to track down a cheap windows 95 or 98 laptop.

Well here's something neat this bad boy was $600, I found the order guide and the manual thanks to that wayback link. The software (also below) appears to be full and I just need to track down a power adapter and old school laptop and we are in business.
