Hi,
I just restored my Mac portable 5120 computer, Booting off the original internal hard drive, I have the ability to see that the battery is charging and the level on System 7.1. When I boot off an image from my BlueSCSI external with an image that I created in MiniVMac, I don't see the battery extension available. I searched the system extensions for "battery" on the original drive and got nothing.
What do I need to install/download so my boot image has the "battery life" extension? Is there a file I need to copy off my original internal drive?
FYI: I do want to eventually replace or minimally unplug my original and just use the BlueScsi for my hard drive so that I do not needlessly wear the original drive as it wakes up/sleeps over time, something I did with my Lisa using an SD card adapter, and that has worked out well.
Thanks,
Cheers,
Corey
