I am terrible at troubleshooting power supplies. I purchased a 6100 and it was dead, I was hoping it would be a simple recap but after that it was still dead.
I tested some voltages, nothing on the DC side. I pulled the heat syncs and tested the transistors and such, nothing. After looking around a bit a couple of the diodes looked dirty so I pulled them and both of them were bad. Bought some replacement BAV21s popped them in and now it works perfectly.
I forgot to write down the component numbers, but I did take this mediocre picture, I think maybe it was D1 and D2...
